I think Landon and Bryna could have quite an intriguing plot together! First of all, her grandfather's name is Landon who was an Eventide-native, and her grandmother coming from Ireland -- I see paralellsssss, haha. I just think that's a really adorable side-story - nothing that would be that crucial to the plot, but I imagine your character Bryna could really draw on it.

but really, in short, his girlfriend was in a car accident and lost her memory of him, so he's in turmoil over that and that his own gift of healing did nothing to help her.

I see the two of them both trying to move on with their lives, but not knowing how. I like to start plots where the characters already know each other at least a little bit. Otherwise, it just takes so long for anything to get going - y'know?

any-who, are you thinking distant cousins, or the like? i think it'd be really awesome. and i totally agree. meets&greets to start off a plot kind of bugs me - it's kind of a last resort for me haha. but i think them knowing one another - at least somewhat - would be fun, especially since poor bree here know pretty much no one even though she's been in the town for a little over a year. and their shared problem with 'moving on' is really cool too. perhaps they talk to one another about it often?

...I was thinking something more romantic, haha. So hopefully not cousins!! haha. I just thought that it was cute that Bryna's irish grandmother fell for an icelander named Landon, and perhaps Bryna might follow the footsteps of her ancestors sort of thing.

So it being a small town, and Landon being a heritage family member would probably recognize a new face. He's a very kind-natured, friendly, and outgoing individual so he's probably said hello to her a couple of times on the street. Maybe a word or two at the grocery store.

Could there be an event where Bryna is doing some plant-manipulation -- trying to grow something? heal something? and hurts herself? Nothing too crazy -- just a gash or something. And dum de dum! In comes Landon the healer, haha.

haha. sorry. i think in anthropological terms so when i saw parallel i was like 'oh cousin?' lol. but that would be pretty cool. she'd be way hesitant to any flirting at first since she's kind of bitter about her break up. but i think that'd be cool. knowing her clumsy self it's not that hard to imagine. she'd probably be digging up some dirt to put her plants in the ground and then slice herself. the plant would be completely fine though .

would you like to start? or should i? it might make more sense plot-flow wise if you start and then have the accident, but i'm fine with starting if you have too much on your plate.

either is a possibility. which ever would be easier for landon to pop in on and discover her and her clumsy self. and i can start. i actually just got done with tests this week so i'm free (yay!) haha. just let me know what and where works best for landon and i'll get started ^^

also: we decided they know one another from town, yes? some 'hellos' and the like? so would they be on a first name basis then?so she'd be like 'oh. hey there landon, guy i see around town. oh this? yeah. cut myself.' xDDD

I can see him passing by nordurljos pass, and walk by her putzing around in the garden, etc. etc. it also might make more sense for them to run into each other there than in the wilds of iceland, and for her to be planting in her own backyard. hahah yeah, i figured they would be on a first name basis -- it's a small enough town.
